Facts about food rationing! BY HARRY, TIHAN, ANDREW!! =) =D

Tihan:
Oranges were only for children because they needed the vitamins to grow.

Andrew:
If you wanted to get some bananas you instead you would be offerd berries.

Harry:
Food rationing started in 1940.

This week we have been doing lots of things to do with books and reading. For example we had bookworm who came in with lots of enjoyable books to read. I bought Diary of a Wimpy kid book and I have just started it. Furthermore we had an author come in called Peter J.Murray. He made us want to read his fantastic books by showing us some actions from the books.His books are based on Mokee Joe. It is about a scary monster charater. Peter J.Murray was my favourite author.

During sports day I had a fabulous time and enjoyed the events. My favourite event was the relay, my class came first so we all won gold medals wich represented first place. I liked the sprints where we have to sprint as fast as we can till the other side of the football field, I came second in my heat but I did not qualify for the finals. I liked sports day very much and hope next year I win more medals.

My mid term holiday
In my holiday i had a friend who used to live in my compound then left to england and came back for the easter holiday and on the first week of the holidays, on tuesday we went to kidzania for the whole day. The next sunday we went again and this time we went since 12:00 am in the morning till 11:30 at night and last saturday an old friend from Colombo came for the holidays so i invited her for a sleepover and the next day we went to the mall and went to the movies for Rio and after for ice-cream and candy.
